How do I enter data for spouses and dependants?

Each family member, including spouses and dependants, is given a separate "file" in the DT Max database, whether or not that person is required to file a tax return.

To add a spouse or a dependant to a family, go to the Client list, place the cursor on Head of the family and press [F3]. Select Spouse or Dependant as relevant. Usually, the data for each family member is entered in that person's keyword data.

As the tax returns for the entire family are calculated, relevant information is automatically communicated between family members.
